I was never a fan of diet trackers or track day by day with macros in any app or system.
The reason is it is not the way to long term success for managing a healthy body with fitness and training.
The whole diet industry loves to push trackers, counting macros, keeping a digital food journal and obsess about details.
You get a dopamine rush when the diet information you put into the tracker gives you a 'great job!' announcement.
It's fun in the beginning and you love learning the basics of nutrition, macros and micros.
But then, over time you realize you're spending tons of time on screen looking at your daily input, believing it's a matter of getting your data set up right and then just follow it.
Then here comes that day or moment when you don't have time for this, you have a life to live! Now you feel defeated and the diet tracker will show you lack of information, you did not comply, you lost track,
This results in feeling defeated and that you're just not disciplined enough, you must do better.
Now here's the irony...Nothing changes for your body before you're master your habits and daily choices.
You can track all you want, and still end up not choosing what you plan on having.
Your life and day to day living is not a machine or always the same way.
To know nutrition and how to do it right with tracking your diet is one thing, you should know what your diet provides for your body.
This is where I coach differently to the rest. I teach you how to track your mind and your choices, your actions, not track data in an app.
I teach you what you need to know and what you can skip.
The diet industry loves that you have no trust in yourself and falsely believe you need a diet police for your tracking.
I suggest you choose to learn the big picture instead and start trusting what you know is true and keep yourself real and honest, aware of yourself.
