The FighterDiet REFEED basics you need to know before you do it “your own way”

To get lean, set your calorie budget for refeed around 2000-2500 calories for the day.

No need to keep track of protein in range for the refeed day.

To stay full and avoid cravings, start your refeed with a filling Fighterdiet meal, then your greed feed as ‘in the end’ of the day.

What if you choose recipes you crave but won’t be able to eat enough of to feel satisfied?

Before you indulge with specials, like a chocolate bar, satisfy your physical hunger with a POBO style meal.

This meal is part of the total calorie budget for the refeed day.

REFEED TIP:

It’s easier and less stressful to keep the same refeed meal plan as you have on defeed, but volumize up your favorite meals.

Instead of ‘one serving of it’ you can have three servings of it.

You can convert a defeed meal plan to refeed by adding a few things to the defeed meal plan, for example 2 bananas and a handful of nuts.

That right there is enough to change defeed 2 refeed.

REFEED TIP:

Keep a list of your cravings and things that come to mind you want, then use your upcoming refeed day for those special moments of healthy food bliss.

REFEED TIP:

It’s easy to want to believe refeed is the same as a cheat day, but a cheat day is something you don’t want to remember, you feel guilty, you sabotage yourself, you cling to the diet culture conditioning of ‘start over monday’ and ‘cheat day weekend is ok, it’s just one day’.

Unfortunately, it sure is okay to eat whatever you want, but you won’t get the body you want doing that, so yeah, every day matters!

The leaner you get from your baseline, the more powerful the refeed effect has on your fat loss progress, the greater your motivation and the stronger you find yourself every day!

Welcome to FD8 New Years Fitness Program 2026

Nordin introduced her FD8 program she's coaching, which will guide participants through a 2025 New Year's program using Zoom meetings and broadcasts on Instagram, YouTube, and U screen.

She emphasized that the focus is on enjoying the fitness journey rather than treating it as a challenge with a specific end date.

Nordin explained that the program is not a cookie-cutter approach but a manual and guide for participants to create their own fitness routine that works for their schedule and lifestyle.

She stressed the importance of being present in the fitness journey and enjoying the process of repetition and daily routine.

Nordin presented a comprehensive fitness program, outlining an 8 week workout system with customizable options and emphasizing the importance of proper form and technique.

She discussed the program's structure, including exercise lists, cardio routines, and nutrition guidelines, while encouraging participants to consult with her for personalized advice.

Nordin also highlighted the importance of self-reflection and goal-setting, and provided various ways for participants to reach out to her for support and guidance.

Nordin discussed the FighterDiet approach, emphasizing the importance of simplifying nutrition and avoiding overtracking of macros.

She introduced the K.I.S.S Fighterdiet food basket system and encouraged studying the FighterDiet materials, including videos and meal plans, to gain diet epiphanies.

Nordin stressed the significance of learning to cook at home and developing a healthy relationship with food, rather than relying on meal delivery services.

She also highlighted the importance of mindset and self-awareness in achieving fitness goals, concluding with a reminder that health is built on nutrition and encouraging attendees to focus on making mindful food choices.

  • All participants: Download and review the 2025 New Year's program guide, reflect on personal goals, and consider what causes them to fall off previous programs

  • All participants: Study the "defeed to refeed" nutrition section and related guidelines in the program materials.

  • All participants: Join scheduled form checks on Instagram Live and Zoom Meetings to upload and review training form.

  • All participants: Reach out to Nordin (via WhatsApp or Instagram DMs) or Pauline at fighterdiet.com for one-on-one consultations as needed.

  • All participants: Attend group sessions on Zoom and Friday Instagram meetings for support and to address confusion or feeling overwhelmed.

  • Nordin: Lead and host scheduled Zoom Meetings, Instagram Live sessions, and group meetings for program support.

“I look forward to my workout! I can’t wait to train!”

That’s the way I live my fitness life.

I remember when I realized I train mainly for an outcome, I THOUGHT I truly loved the way of life with all my heart.

But every time I got into the best lean and strong shape I lost motivation!

Maintaining my well built physique wasn’t as rewarding as I had always envisioned.

Nowadays I know the difference between working for a look more than for the feeling.

I never do “just gotta do it” anymore.

I motivate myself to want to do it.

I want to be doing it, and no stupid complaining about the training I CHOOSE to do!

It’s a mindset thing.

It has to feel good, it has to do me good or I simply know it’s waste of life time spent on something I could change to excite me and draw me into the doing over and over.

I’m disciplined, I do what I do out of freedom, but I’ve learned that I have to be open to letting myself evolve to accept what I thought I wanted isn’t what I want anymore.

My fitness goals today?

I always want to build lean muscle, keep my cardio capacity, keep practicing my mobility and strength training technique like an athlete, but in all that daily life I must enjoy every part of it.

And that’s the only true goal I have, to seize the training day of life every day!

Superstars, stop saying you’re feeling fluffy, bloated, swollen.

That story never ends with a happy self does it?

Change your chronic criticism of your body, it’s time to shift focus and live fitness life without the constant complaining about a perfectly normal healthy body.

Are you a body or do you have a body?

I remember that thought challenge in high school when I was studying the history of Western Philosophy.

Without a physical body I’d not have any vehicle or a vessel for whatever I call that form of being, pure energy, consciousness, spirit or soul.

P.C Jersild’s book about the brain living in a water tank and its reflections on life comes to mind.

Unless I missed the news, they still haven’t found a physical location of the mind that masters the body.

So…I like to entertain the idea that I am forever, not at all as ‘Pauline with her memories, attachments, history, organs, dreams etc’ but more like how everything that lives in Nature must die to be born again, the way the leaves under the tree turn into new soil, the composting style, that will be my way too.

In my fitness life I had goals to achieve, I wanted to create a well-built physique, and then maintain that for ever.

Arnold on a cover of Muscle & Fitness that caught my attention Feb 20, 1999 was the inspiration, before him I had no idea I could train to build my dream body by hard work, discipline & dedication.

That drew me into my life commitment to the way of life we live building the strong body.

Today, my perspective is ‘a well built MIND’ is a status symbol, rather than in my quote ‘a well built PHYSIQUE’.

Because when you truly master your mind you’ll master your body.

And to transform your physical body you must be willing to transform your mind.

Imagine what you can create out of your laser focus if you give yourself the time to build BODY AND the MIND.

Dreams and goals evolve, fitness goals too, so ask your heart, WHAT DO I WANT, then GO FOR IT.
