Healthy eating must be so basic, so simple, even my cat could cook it.
When I make my meals I love to have all freedom, no rules.
I love to skip all unnecessary steps that waste time and effort.
I like to measure up only what requires a little bit of precision, and just forget about the rest!
Looking at glamorous, professional meal shots I know took hours of work in cooking, presenting, photo lighting, then post editing to make the shots pop just exhausts me, I get tired by thinking about the whole production just to snap a sexy looking nutritious meal for ME, the observer.
The funny thing is, I love my ‘UGLY MEALS’, the ones that never end up in a food magazine like Bon Appetit, because they don’t look like super food models!
My kind of eats are food body shamed, always too real, too authentic, too easy, too REAL for people who eat only with their eyes but forget that’s not how you eat to feel satisfied when you also want to have a healthy BODY!
I love to eat, I love to eat BIG, so HUGE portions everyone comes around to just look at my super size POBO dinner & desserts and then ask ‘are you really gonna eat ALL THAT all by YOURSELF?’.
YEAH BABY you bet I am and I’m gonna be so stuffed and merry, and then happy when I wake up LEAN, not starting my day with REGRETS about my choices the day before that result in my Mood TODAY.
In my meditation the other day it just came to me: I want THIS to be my new chapter in my Fighterdiet Life. I’m just NOT interested in anything larger than life anymore! I truly LOVE to eat healthy and not count calories or macros or having to drag around a food scale to make sure I know every little thing.
That’s my point: I don’t NEED to know every little thing when I’m LIVING what I love and PREACH. Freedom, enjoying my healthy food, knowing my moderations by being present, not consciously ignorant about the snacks I pretend did not happen.
I’ve learned a thing about my own nature and I really want you to experience it too, my way: The more I trust myself in my daily choices, the LESS I rebel against the good ones I want to make.
SO…. Today I’m writing my first ‘K.I.S.S’ recipes for my clients that are really FREE STYLE. You’ll feel anxious about the lack of details and my way of just writing out the EASY steps for you.
I won’t even make a nice photo of the dish, no, I’m gonna just feature the KEY ingredient and make that the main star, instead of having to ‘dress it up’ to look super foody enough for US to show interest.
It’s HIGH TIME for vegetables and other whole foods to shine without having to look like all the others of the same kind of plant.
It’s ABOUT TIME to let vegetables, fruits and all other Mother Nature’s real foods LOOK like they were never told they have to LOOK like candy, not just TASTE like it.
I’m stoked and excited about my food adventure.
