Do you take yourself for granted?

It's easy to believe your own story, you can live your whole life in denial of your human nature and end up with no dreams of yours actualized.

If I listen to myself and WANT to believe my own talk I will sabotage myself, I'll lose time I need and want to work to make my dreams come true.

I want to remember myself and how I can lie straight up to my face IF I want to have an excuse to give up and pretend I'll be there for myself later.

Do YOU do this?

How do you pep talk yourself?

How do you BELIEVE in your word if you never live up to the talk?

Why want to lose weight with Semaglutide?

These are the reasons I found researching why on earth choose to medicate to lose weight:

APPARENTLY:

“Semaglutide lowers body weight by reducing appetite and hunger”

My comment?

So does EATING!

Why is this a big problem?

People choose diets that are not satisfying hunger OR reducing appetite!

It’s like asking you to be OK with starving yourself to HEALTH.

In my work with clients who are on semaglutide, not one time has their medical doctor provided nutrition counseling that includes reconditining programming of habits, choices and teach essential self observation skills to their patients.

All patients are provided a ketogenic diet, carnivore diet, or extensive fasting. None of these are designed to be used long-term which amplifies the complexity of the challenge to change an individual’s mind to change the individual’s body weight.

The medical doctors in general have no clue how to thrive on a healthy diet long term, most of them are fellow yoyo dieters, so how can they lead someone to do what they can’t understand HOW to do themselves, right?

It takes self knowledge and genuine interest to study one’s human nature with our urgers, desires and motivations.

To simply put yourself on a diet plan will not change the ending where everyone knows NO DIET lasts forever.

This is the consensus nowadays which truly affects anyone’s belief in achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight for life, not just for a moment before regaining and having to start over again.

Tracking macros and being mindful with portions does not last either, the spontaneous mindless moments of ‘I don’t want to anymore’, ‘I quit’, ‘Cheat day’ keep recurring which cancels out the caloric deficit building up over time to yield real fat loss over time.

There is never a consistent new diet environment for the body to change and take form of the nature of what the environment provides.

The guilt and shame of non compliance makes every ‘diet day’ a struggle and everyone looks forward to resume ‘their normal diet’ once weight loss is achieved. This means the same weight gain returns due to reestablishing the environment that provides the opportunity for it.

The ‘little mishaps’ all add up, but individuals are not aware.

Tracking macros does not teach you what foods per se are your friends, and unfortunately the emphasis on ‘math’ and ‘calories in and out’ results in negligence and ignorance about different foods provide different actions and consequences in the next food choices.

Tracking macros is essential for learning how nutrition works on paper, and in theory where you simply follow ‘what you should’, however people are not machines and want more out of life than sticking to a healthy diet.

There is DEEP need for self reflection and study of one’s mind, how thoughts and feelings come in and out, but this takes dedication to self awareness, which many run away from because it hurts to be honest and choose to SEE your real self.

Medical doctors provide tools like tracking macros that simply promote ‘eat anything, just track your macros’, it does not help in how to choose to win over time, the ‘if it fits your macros’ and ‘anything goes’ take away the effect different foods have on hunger and appetite, and to forbid high calorie low volume appetize foods altogether simply makes it more attractive to have, it becomes forbidden fruit and we all know the satisfaction of succumbing to one’s guilty pleasure.

Until you realize you just sabotaged your progress and now you’re filled with guilt instead.

What is the solution here?

To EAT, to LEARN how to prevent overeating BY overeating. To ASK what kind of foods and recipes do I LOVE and CRAVE, how can that be part of my regular diet?

To FOCUS on the fact we all love to eat food and enjoy our food, not to feel starved and scared to start eating a tiny meal because once we DO, it’s soon over with.

I call this the empty bowl syndrome.

Let’s just say you achieve your weight loss goal, now you’re here to maintain.

How do you do that without losing control? If you never allow anything because you never took the time to practice moderation, how will you manage to curb your increasing desire to rebel against your will to comply? You always lose against your desire to be HAPPY and with nostalgia about ‘the good times before you had your new body’ will keep having you tempted with ‘just a little bit’, and without regular practice in addition to strategic overeating prevention habits you WILL NOT WIN over your weakness.

In the end, no matter how happy you are to have a healthier body, your mind will miss what you have conditioned yourself to not want, and if that’s something you truly love, like food, then how will you ever find peace and balance? It’s not going to be worth your life to have nothing out of pure mind bliss food, without having to suffer fat regain as a sure consequence.

The longer you stick to your unsatisfying low volume diet, the hungrier you get, the more fat you lose, the more your hunger will increase to keep you alive. Are you informed of this when you’re offered medication to fix a problem that will take months or years to fix?

CLAIM: “increasing satiety & reducing food cravings”

My comment: So does EATING real food, not a diet bar or a weight loss meal in a frozen container to heat up a minute in the microwave oven!

BIGGER meals reduce interest in eating naturally, stretching the belly HELPS your body register you had a feeding! Cravings NATURALLY cease when you first eat for physical satisfaction, they are now easier to tame.

Cravings for foods change, but to have NO food at all that you CRAVE included in your diet plan is a prison diet, something so boring and life sucking out of your soul you won’t WANT to stick to it!

If you learn how to succumb to your cravings by choice and in a system you condition yourself to keep up with joy, then you’ll no longer overindulge. Again, cravings are not dangerous, not knowing how to manage yours, that’s the challenge and it’s teachable and trainable with interest to HAVE what you crave, rather than attempt to eliminate it out of your life.

CLAIM: ‘altering food preferences and reducing energy intake’

My comment: this is education of nutrition and offering various options of how to eat to be healthy, not a boring ‘clean diet’ plan or something project diet wise that will delay all work with behavior modification to the future.

When you choose healthy food and you enjoy your daily diet that provides nutrition combined with a necessary caloric deficit consistently, you NATURALLY end up maintaining a physical environment that results in fat loss and easy management of your healthy body.

Think about this and you realize it’s just another FAD when it comes to healthy living, healthy eating and enjoying your life.
